Healthcare Assistants & Support Workers
Responsibilities and Duties Include but are not limited to:

Using equipment to lift and move patients

Prepare and serve meals and help to feed patients

Make patients feel comfortable in the facility

Assisting with clinical duties and welfare needs

Observing, monitoring and recording patients' conditions by taking vitals (temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight)

Attend meetings with Multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals

Talking to patients and reassuring them

keeping departments clean and tidy, for example, cleaning equipment and making and changing beds

Reducing and Preventing the risk of self-harm and attack towards staff by the use of training provided. (Training: Management of actual and potential aggression and Prevention and management of violence and aggression)

Liaise with Doctors and Nurses to facilitate and review care plans

Senior Health Care Worker
JOB SUMMARY
To professionally lead support care team as a team leader ,during any span of duty, ensuring that a safe, effective and efficient care service is maintained which meets the needs of clients users and purchasers. To provide care to residents/ clients users in accordance with their assessed needs to an industry leading standard.
Overall responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for clients user safety and dignity.
• To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
• Ensure the ongoing safety of residents/ client users , staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes.
• Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
• Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice. Specific responsibilities and duties:
• Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity.
• Provide effective leadership and support for the care team.
• Supervise care staff on a day to day basis and through formal supervision
processes.

Requirements
-
The applicant must have a relevant health care qualification minimum level 3 in Health& Social care essential or relevant experience
-
Relevant Experience: Over 1-3 years experience working in healthcare industry as a support worker , healthcare assistant and in a supervisory role, experience of working with older people is essential Experience working in domiciliary/ residential care setting is desirable .
Registered General and Mental Health Nurses
Responsibilities and Duties Include but are not limited to:

Administering medicine
-
Working along with Doctors, Social workers and other health professionals.

Writing and updating patients records.

Building trust and relationships with the patients
-
Write patient’s care plans
-
Observe and record patient’s conditions
-
Do blood transfusions when required
-
Set-up drips
-
Respond quickly to emergencies
-
Be a patient’s advocate
-
Provide pre and post-operation care
-
Assist and supervise junior staff
-
Encouraging patients to take part in therapies
-
Understanding Patients behaviour; assist distressed patients and attempt to calm them in a non-threatening manner.

An annual salary of 26,500 - 28,000 based on experience.
